Elliot Consulting Services to be Featured Speaker at Business Continuity
Planning and Resources Event

Tampa, Fla. - March 13, 2006 - Steve Elliot, President of Elliot Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), today announced the participation of the company in the Business Continuity Planning & Resources Event to be held at the Host.net new colocation facility in Boca Raton, Fla.

ECS, a leading provider of Business Survival Solutions, will present an executive briefing on contingency planning and disaster preparedness. The event will take place on Thursday, March 30, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Host.net's new world-class data center located at 3500 NW Boca Raton Blvd., Building 900, Boca Raton, Fla. This educational seminar will focus on a high-level discussion of business disasters, the contingency planning process, and simple strategies which could be employed by businesses to mitigate future disruptions.

According to Steve Elliot, "This presentation is designed to promote the awareness of survival strategies for businesses, explain the process of business continuity planning, uncover potential risks in the workplace, enlist executive management support, and encourage a dialogue about business continuity."

John Copenhaver, President of Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), and former Director of the Southeast regional office of FEMA, will present the keynote address at the event. Copenhaver was appointed to the position of Region IV Director of FEMA by President Clinton in 1997. In this capacity, he directed the federal government's response to 58 Presidentially-declared disasters.

Sponsors of the event include the South Florida Technology Alliance, Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Tech Committee, iCoast, and Host.net. The event aims to provide information to around 300 attendees who need to plan for disasters which could cripple their businesses, including but not limited to hurricanes and other natural disasters.
