As Semi-native Floridian, Kelly Oliver brings over twenty years experience in the fields of technology, project management, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Prior to her work with Elliot Consulting, Mrs. Oliver’s background focused on IT strategies based on today’s complex environments.
Currently, Kelly consults with clients on their business continuity and disaster recovery strategies. She demonstrates experience in building BCP/DR strategy plans for Data Centers, Call Centers, IT operations, communications, security and infrastructure for very large organizations, and is knowledgeable in the medical, retail, educational, financial, and public sector industries.
Previously, she was the Director of Technology for a $2B+ electronic retailer where Mrs. Oliver provided leadership and hands on experience in networking, tel/data communications, data center management, logistics, security, project management, audit, compliance, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, system integration and implementation services for a variety of infrastructure systems across the US. She understands how BCP/DR, affects the bottom-line from the inside the business, during and after a disaster.
With a master of science degree in Computer Information systems, Mrs. Oliver is a high energy, results oriented strategic planner with a strong record of managing P&L, and she consistently drives project success.
In her career, she achieved exciting turnarounds with the top tier organizations such as HSN, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, BayCare Health Systems, Bay Care Home Care, Hillsborough Community College, and Edison Community College. She is repeatedly recognized for her success in delivering high performance, cost effective solutions by combining creative and operational strengths.
As a certified project management professional, her exceptional track record of business improvement is based on the management philosophy of “Doing It Right the First Time”. It is her personal goal to quickly identify and diagnose problems, whether they are technical or procedural, then use an educational approach to work with each division to refine their perspective related to tough topics, such as: technology integration, service delivery, project planning, in/out sourcing, and setting C-level expectations.
